Hello, I'm Mia Friedman, founder of Mia Friedman Design.
Raised in Vietnam and educated across two continents, my work reflects a life lived between cultures. I believe a home should be a deeply personal story. I craft warm, timeless spaces using intentional interior design, original artwork, and delicate, handcrafted paper crane mobiles.
My approach combines clean lines, natural materials, layered textures, and meaningful details to design homes that are both beautiful and deeply livable. Whether I'm transforming a family room, designing a beach house, or folding each crane by hand, every project begins with intention and careful craftsmanship.
Inspired by nature and the quiet elegance of Japanese design, I strive to create environments that bring calm, balance, and joy to everyday life.
Based in Old Greenwich, Connecticut, I work on residential interior design projects and create one-of-a-kind handcrafted pieces for homes worldwide.
